About our CIC
Our purpose.
Our why.
Cleethorpes Borough Sports Club CIC exists to make sport feel possible, welcoming and worthwhile for more people in our town.
Community interest
Built for community benefit.
Being a CIC reflects a simple commitment: the club is here to create positive benefit for the community it serves.
We use football, multi-sport activity and community connection to challenge financial and social barriers. We want people to have a fair chance to play, grow in confidence, develop skills, make friends and feel that they belong.
Competitive football can be part of that journey, but it is never the only measure of success. Recreation, wellbeing, participation, personal progress and connection matter too.
Cleethorpes Borough Sports Club CIC is registered in England & Wales as a community interest company · Company No. 17538323.
What our why looks like
A level playing field for all.
Development
Use sport and activity to support confidence, physical and social development, friendships and new opportunities.
Belonging
Build a club where recreational players, team players, families, volunteers and supporters all feel part of the same community.
Values in every decision.
Integrity, honesty, respect, inclusion and diversity guide how we welcome people, shape activities and grow the club. We aim to listen, communicate clearly and make choices that put people and community first.
