The Gulls football pathway

Your football. Your choice.

Every player has a different reason for playing football.

Some want to compete.

Some want to improve.

Some want to make friends.

Some simply want somewhere to play.

At Gulls, there is no single route.

Play

League & competitive football
Further development

This is not a compulsory ladder.

Players can move through the pathway at their own pace — or simply stay where they are. There is no requirement to progress into competitive football.

For members, the football pathway is included within their membership at no additional membership cost.

If a player wants to join a Gulls team, the club will help them find the appropriate age group and level.

There are no separate weekly team subscriptions or match-day subscriptions when team costs are included within membership.

Team or no team — you belong here.

You do not have to play competitive football to be part of the Gulls.

Members can attend training, community sessions, recreational football, development activities, events and the wider Gulls programme without joining a league team.

For players who want competitive football, we provide a pathway into Gulls teams and help them find the right environment for their age, ability and goals.

No pressure.

No forced progression.

Just opportunities.

Free community access

The community comes first

Some Gulls activities are completely free and open to everyone.

The Saturday Morning Club is one of those activities.

You can attend without becoming a member.

Membership simply gives people access to the wider Gulls club, its member programme and the optional football pathway.
